Formulation and Evaluation of Liquisolid Compacts of BCS Class II Drug Ketoprofen

Aims: The main objective of the current research work is to develop liquisolid compacts BCS Class II drug ketoprofen with an intention enhance solubility by applying technique.
 Place and Duration Study: Smriti College Pharmaceutical Education between June 2018 2019.
 Methodology: Initially liquid medication was obtained dissolving in suitable solvent. Saturation studies were performed various hydrophilic non-volatile solvents select solvent showing highest for drug. This admixed calculated amounts carrier material (Avicel PH 102) coating (Cab-O-Sil) using Spireas mathematical model order obtain formulations. Further, this powder mass system compressed form Ketoprofen compact formulations ranging from TK1 TK9. They further subjected post compression evaluation tests such as weight variation, hardness, friability, content uniformity, disintegration vitro dissolution studies.
 Results: Based on studies, PEG 400 selected Rheological properties prepared all they showed acceptable flow properties. results present within limits. time observed 5 minutes. release enhanced rates compared that directly tablet. Lquisolid formulation TK7 maximum 97.62% 12 minutes pH 7.4 phosphate buffer which much higher when SEM PXRD revealed conversion crystalline molecularly dispersed formulation. DSC FTIR also there no presence any significant interaction excipients involved formulation.
 Conclusion: Finally, it could be concluded Liquisolid technique successful enhancing profile Ketoprofen.
